Bears

I have always found black bears’ diets funny, with 85% of their diet coming from berries and other vegetation.  This is funny to me for two reasons.  One is pretty well articulated by this picture:

The other reason is that it sounds like berries were named after bears.  I sometimes like to imagine Adam as a good old country boy wandering the garden after God told him to name every living thing:

“Mmm.  That there thing I’mma gonna call a bear.  And that it’s eatin’, I’mma call them bear-ies.”
